What is HRIS?

HRIS stands for “Human Resources Information Solution.” It is the enterprise resource planning system that the State of Arizona currently uses to manage all of its personnel, payroll and benefits data and services. HRIS processes more than $2 billion in annual payroll and administers HR, payroll, and benefits for more than 70,000 state employees and retirees.
